Frisco Arts Festival Friday-Sunday
Frisco Arts will host its first Frisco Arts Festival on the beautiful grounds of Newman Village, just off the tollway at Legacy Drive and Eldorado Parkway. The event serves as both art festival and major fundraiser for the arts organization.
The three-day festival will be a weekend celebration featuring more than 100 juried visual artists along with unique visual, musical and performing art talent from North Texas and around the country. Details on schedule at www.friscoartsfestival.org.
Annual Frisco High School Bazaar
The Frisco Star Bazaar is open for early holiday shopping from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Frisco High School, 6401 Parkwood Drive. This event benefits the Stars Dance team and features many vendors. Items include candles, home décor, gourmet food, jewelry and much more.
Admission is FREE and raffles will be held throughout the day. There will be free car wash, concessions and bounce houses in the parking lot.
Frisco Square MarketPlace Open House
MarketPlace merchants invite everyone to stop by 2-4 p.m. Saturday and see how all the new stores are fitting in on Coleman Boulevard. Among the newcomers is Bellagio’s Shoes. Food and drink provided.
SUNDAY
AroundTwoKids.com celebrates the fifth year of its founding and share a bit of good will with others, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at GattiTown, 3251 Preston Road.
The event includes free face painting, free balloon animals, free souvenir photo buttons, birthday cake, prizes and more. There will be a free David Chicken concert at GattiTown. In keeping with the birthday theme, in lieu of gifts, guests are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to be donated to the North Texas Food Bank.
