Frisco blanketeers donate 16 blankets (SLIDESHOW)
Sixteen beautiful, handcrafted blankets were recently delivered by Project Linus Blanketeer Regina Forthman of the Collin County Chapter to Home Hospice in Grayson County for this year’s Camp Dragonfly.
Project Linus is a non-profit organization that strives to provide a sense of security and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or in dire need through the gifts of new, handmade blankets and afghans, created by volunteers called “blanketeers.” They meet regularly at the Frisco Public Library.
Camp Dragonfly is a community-based grief camp for children and adolescents who have suffered the death of a close loved one. Details about Camp Dragonfly are available at: http://www.homehospice.org.
