Business Briefs: Railroad museum on track
The Museum of the American Railroad is moving forward on plans to construct Phase I of their new facility at the east end of Cotton Gin Road. Sealed bids are being accepted until 2 p.m. Tuesday for site grading, base for rail, paving, storm drainage, erosion control and fencing.
The Museum of the American Railroad, currently located at Fair Park in Dallas, maintains an office at the Frisco Heritage Museum, 6455 Page St., Frisco, and the bids will be opened there.
Phase I will allow the museum to display their large locomotives outdoors. Future fundraising will support an exhibit hall and roundhouse.
The Easter Bunny is taking the bunny trail through Stonebriar Center, starting Saturday and through April 3. Hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. Visitors will find him in a springtime garden on the lower level between Sears and the children¹s play area.
There¹s no charge to stop by and visit with the Easter Bunny. The Bunny will be ready and waiting to visit with little ones and pose for photos; prices for photo packages vary.
Clear landscaping from electrical equipment
Co-Serv crews are currently inspecting area electrical boxes and lines for safe access and ongoing maintenance. If landscaping interferes with safe access and future work, the company policy calls for giving property owners seven days notice to clear or move the plantings.
Corepoint Health sets headquarters in Frisco (PHOTO)
Corepoint Health, a software solutions provider for the healthcare industry, has signed a five-year lease for 13,701 sq. ft. on the third floor of 3010 Gaylord Parkway for its new corporate headquarters in Hall Office Park.
Corepoint Health is a 12-year-old company that develops and delivers healthcare integration applications to meet the interoperability needs of hospitals, laboratories, radiology practices, clinics and other healthcare vendors.
