Business Briefs: Four new boutiques at Frisco Square
MarketPlace at Frisco Square introduces four new merchants and an opportunity to meet them: Amy Winslow Designs, handcrafted belt buckles; Daisy’s Boutique, chic ladies wear; Simplicity, eclectic home accessories; and Two Sisters Shop, fashionable women’s apparel and gifts
From 2-4 p.m. March 27, the merchants of MarketPlace will be in the store to meet customers and talk about their products. Refreshments will be provided and there will be drawings for prizes.

TRISUN Healthcare is now managing Victoria Gardens of Frisco among five skilled nursing facilities in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. With the five additions, Texas-based TRISUN Healthcare will manage 39 skilled nursing, rehab and assisted living properties throughout the state.
Weather radio sales benefit Red Cross
NOAA weather radios are for sale at a reduced price at all 168 Dallas/Fort Worth area Walgreen’s stores. A portion of the purchase price from each radio sold through June 30 will benefit the local chapters of the American Red Cross.
NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) all-hazards weather radios monitor special radio broadcasts from the National Weather Service and the Department of Homeland Security to provide critical information in the event of severe weather and other local emergencies. The radios may be set to announce warnings for individual counties so that users can receive alerts for the specific areas they select.
