Fort Washington School of Rock Headed to Frisco

Fort Washington School of Rock 2012 House Band Headed to Frisco, TX

House Band Tours Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and Houston in 2012 Summer Tour.

Philadelphia, PA, June 18, 2012 On Tuesday, June 19, 2012 Fort Washington School of Rock 2012 House Band heads to Texas for a multi-city 6-day tour that includes Frisco, TX. The 18 teenage musicians and their leaders Jim Love, School Music Director, and Eric York, House Band Director will meet fellow students at Texas Schools of Rock, located in Austin and Frisco, tour Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and Houston and play various venues.

Founded as a single school in Philadelphia in 1998, School of Rock has become a growing international franchise operating 69 schools in the US and Mexico. School of Rock believes the best way of learn music is to play music. Students take lessons, participate in Rock 101, and progress quickly onto the stage, developing both their confidence and musicianship.

Fort Washington School of Rock House Band tryouts were held last Fall, and the chosen represent the most advanced and dedicated students. The School of Rock House Band tours the area playing music and representing the school. The House Band plays covers of popular rock music; as well as a set list of acoustic, mellow and more intimate songs for playing smaller venues.

The Fort Washington School of Rock 2011 House Band toured England, and from Tuesday June 19th through Saturday June 24th the 2012 troupe will be touring through Texas. Come see the group:
