ANNIE, JULY 20-29: Have the time of your hard knock life! Repertory Company Theatre presents "Annie," a Broadway tuner that expresses the quintessential spirit of American optimism, through July 29, Promenade Theatre, 650 N Coit-Richardson. The popular comic strip heroine takes center stage in one of the world's most beloved musicals. Annie is a spunky Depression-era orphan determined to find her parents, who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of a New York City Orphanage run by the cruel, embittered Miss Hannigan. Featuring It's A Hard Knock Life, You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile, Easy Street, and of course, Tomorrow, there is no better way to spend the summer than with this award-winning show!
