Frisco Square announces Motion at Music in the Square

Frisco, TEXAS (June 19, 2012) – Frisco Square announces Motion in concert at Music in the Square, a free summer event held on Simpson Plaza, this Friday, June 22, 2012. Motion is one of North Texas’ most versatile and polished party bands. One of the freshest bands on the Dallas scene, the cohesion between the group’s eight musicians gives Motion its unmatched style and sound. With experience performing for a variety of events to include corporate events, wedding receptions, and debutante presentations, the band can expertly emcee for the masses or detail the smallest requests for an intimate celebration.
Motion performances showcase powerful deliveries by their male and female vocalists, smooth rhythm section, and world-renowned brass musicians. The band’s style encompasses familiar tunes from the Motown era, R&B, and popular dance songs in today’s Top 40s. The musicians’ choreography and contagious energy drives party guests to the dance floor at every show.
Music in the Square is a free event and will feature a unique line-up of talented musicians every Friday night, from 7:30-9:30pm, in June and July 2012. Bring friends and family, grab a picnic, some blankets or chairs and enjoy listening to a variety of musicians as the sun sets. Each Friday will feature a different genre of music, from country, rock, bluegrass, pop and some of the area's best singer/songwriters.
