McGREGOR

Cooper Odell McGregor, age 73, of Lewisville, Texas passed away Friday, June 22, 2012.
He was born on July 19, 1938 in Augusta, Arkansas to Alex and Mary McGregor.

Cooper earned a PhD from UT Austin and was a mechanical engineer for TI and Raytheon.

Cooper is survived by his wife, of 48 years, Iris Evelyn Proffer McGregor; son Joel McGregor and wife Sandy of Keller TX; daughter Ruth Anne Scott and husband John of Ft. Myers FL; sister Sallye Ruth Owens of Pine Bluff; brother-in-law Lyndon Proffer and wife Paula; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Alex and Mary McGregor; sisters Sarah Nelle Scott, Hattye Fletcher, Virginia Donohugh and Jean Peebles; two brothers Tommye and Henry McGregor.

A graveside service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday June 23rd, 2012 at Old Hall Cemetery, in Lewisville, Texas.
