The city of Plano is celebrating the Fourth of July with a variety of events including parades and fireworks.
The 32nd Annual Independence Day Parade kicks things off at 9 a.m. and will run from the Plano ISD Administration Building to Plano Senior High via Independence Parkway. Floats from various local businesses and nonprofits will mix with bands from PISD high schools to add a patriotic feel to the annual event.
Fans of patriotic music are invited to attend the Plano Symphony Orchestra's Patriotic Pops show at 3 p.m. at the Eisemann Center in Richardson.
