Frisco woman injured in explosion: 22-year-old woman airlifted to Dallas hospital

A 22-year-old woman was hospitalized Tuesday morning after an apparent explosion took place at a residence in the 7700 block of Glenoaks Drive in Frisco.

The explosion, which occurred at 6 a.m. on Tuesday, took place in the garage of the residence. Both the Frisco Fire Department and Frisco Police Department responded to the incident.

The woman, who has not been identified, was airlifted to Parkland Memorial Hospital, according to a report by CBS 11 News. Her condition has not been released to the public.

Frisco Police Department personnel are currently investigating to determine the cause of the explosion. A spokesperson for the department said the incident is being investigated as an attempted suicide.
