NEWSOME
James Pritchard Newsome, age 73, passed away July 8, 2012 at his home in Trenton, TX after a long battle with cancer.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Trenton.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie Anne Newsome of Trenton; son, Edward Newsome and his wife Teri of Melissa; daughter, Judy Lilly and husband Melvon of Howe; daughter, Peggy Elledge and husband JD of Highland Village; daughter, Mary Madewell and husband Jerry of Paris; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Virginia Futrell of Aulander, NC.
He was preceded in death by his father, Archie B. Newsome; mother, Eliza Mae Newsome Mandzak; brother, Archie Ray Newsome; and great-grandchild, Dustin Wayne Whitfield.
The family will have visitation on Friday 13, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. with the services on Saturday 14, 2012 at 10 p.m. Both will be held at The First United Methodist Church, 215 N 2nd St, Trenton, TX 75490. Funeral services are being handled by Hurst-Fielder-Baker, 107 Washington Street, Farmersville, TX 75442.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to The First United Methodist Church of Trenton, TX.
