VITAS Innovative Hospice Care will be honoring our World War II veterans and Rosie the Riveters at our commemorative celebration and reception on Thursday, August 14, 9:00 am - 10:00 am. Our “Spirit of ’45 Day” Celebration will take place at the Vintage Flying Museum, 505 NW 38th Street Hangar 33 South, Fort Worth, 76106, adjacent to Meacham Field, and include music, prayer and lots of handshakes and thanks to members of The Greatest Generation who preserved the freedom of the world by serving in the military, as well as those civilians in support services.  Commanding Officer of NAS Fort Worth JRB, CAPT Robert Bennett will be our featured speaker.  A representative of the 5 surviving Tuskegee Airmen will also be our honored guest.  The Vintage Flying Museum is located 5 blocks west of North Main Street, at the south runway of Meacham Field

Last year we had almost 100 people attend and we are hoping to reach everyone in the  area to invite them to this event.
