Police calls for July 9 - 16 compiled from information provided by the Police Department.

July 9

12:27 a.m. - Noise complaint in the 300 block of Shire Lane. Reporting Person advised loud noise on Shire Lane. Made contact at address, no noise or party at residence.

1:15 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of South Preston Road. Vehicle in parking lot with 2 subjects inside. Subjects were traveling and looking for a place to take a nap.

3:32 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Vehicle in parking lot of closed business. Was waiting on friend to meet him.

July 10

3:44 a.m. - Suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of Carter Ranch Road. Security guard asleep.

7:41 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle at County Roads 53 and 1117. Black Chevy pickup stuck in ditch. Driver was turning around and drove off of road.

10:39 p.m. – Assist fire department in the 700 block of East Pecan Street. Passed on to fire department.

July 11

10:13 a.m. – 911 hangup in the 1000 block of North Louisiana Drive. Appears to be phone system malfunction.

2:21 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances in the 300 block of East Maple Street. Reporting Person heard a noise at the back of her house. No offense occurred.

5:29 p.m. – Harassment in the 600 block of South Arizona Drive. Reporting Person advised that both of his sons are being harassed by an elderly male in the neighborhood. He advised that he was harassed by the same subject when he was a kid. Officer spoke to RP and gathered information about his complaint. Also visited suspect at his residence and gathered his story of the situation. Both parties have been advised to leave the other alone. No report taken.

3:27 p.m. – Juvenile problem in the 200 block of Mustang Trail. Juveniles shooting Reporting Person’s house with paintball guns. No offense occurred. Juvenile apologized to RP.

4:24 p.m. – Theft in the 400 block of Palomino Lane. Reporting Person has been a victim of identity theft and needs a police report. Offense report filed.

6:36 p.m. – Theft in the 500 block of South Arizona Drive. Reporting Person advised that she had some things missing after her yard sale. RP advised that she did not want to make a report due to the inexpensive items but wanted police department to be aware. No report taken.

9:02 p.m. – Disturbance in the 200 block of North Colorado Drive. Reporting Person states there are approximately 11 people outside in a verbal argument. RP suspect alcohol, no weapons visible. Officer spoke to both parties about the stairwell issue. No offense, no report taken.

11:32 p.m. - Assist fire department in the 7400 block of Rawhide Road. Medication overdose, assisted Celina paramedics. Subject transported for overdose. Referred Collin County of incident. Assisted deputy, release scene and incident to deputy.

July 12

1:41 a.m. Narcotics violation in the 400 block of North Texas Drive. Odor of marijuana. Information report completed.

2:55 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances at Light Farms and Dallas Parkway. Light on construction equipment on. No one around, no sign of tampering.

11:50 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances in the 200 block of South Ohio Drive. Four-year-old is lost. Child got out of her house without her father knowing it. Child had been returned to the father when officer arrived.

4:30 p.m. – Meet complainant in the 200 block of North Colorado Drive. Reporting Person says subjects playing dominoes are blocking stairway where her children can't get by. Officer spoke with subjects, advised to move away from breezeway to allow access to stairs. They complied.

6:29 p.m. – Open door in the 900 block of West Walnut Street. Unsecured door inside post office. Officer spoke to employee in back of post office. Clerk forgot to lock the door. Employee will lock and secure door. No report taken.

9:02 p.m. – Animal complaint in the 900 block of Palomino Lane. Dog was struck by car and then people trying to help injured dog were bit. Referred to Animal Control.

July 13

12:36 a.m. – Assist other agency in the 900 block of South Coit. Prosper needing cover for suspect headed towards pond. Unable to locate suspect on foot in area.

5:57 a.m. – Phone call at Pecan Street police station regarding Reporting Person finding gas card that belongs to city. RP will be bringing card by police department after he gets off work.

11:01 a.m. – Disturbance in the 400 block of East Maple Street. Reporting Person states there are two people arguing outside the residence. Verbal argument only. White male is moving out today and white female was upset. Officer advised female to leave the residence until he could pack his things up.

11:59 a.m. – Domestic disturbance in the 800 block of West Walnut Street. Two brothers arguing. No offense occurred. Verbal argument over Reporting Person's brother's girlfriend.

4:24 p.m. –Harassment in the 500 block of South Utah Drive. Reporting Person states that suspect called her and threatened to kick her ass. Offense report completed.

11:40 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 3000 block of Cedar Trail. Barking dog. Owner stated he would try to stop them from barking. Dogs barked once in officer's presence.

July 14

4:27 a.m. – Juvenile problem in the 200 block of East Pecan Street. Observed two juveniles at Bobcat skating, curfew violation. Juveniles sneaked out and were skating through downtown. Both juveniles taken home.

10:25 a.m. – Trash dumping in the 2900 block of South Preston Road. Red truck backing up to a creek on Preston. Unable to locate.

6:59 p.m. –Assist fire department downtown. Observed what appeared to be a huge fire downtown. Found cause of possible fire, chemical plant in the 1000 block of North Louisiana had a lot of dark dusty sand blowing into air.

7:09 p.m. – Alarm in the 200 block of South Louisiana Drive. Weather-related, severe storm over Celina setting off alarm.

7:31 p.m. - Traffic hazard at Ash and railroad crossing. Crossing arms are going up and down. Notified railroad to fix.

9:20 p.m. - Assault in the 300 block of East Maple Street. Information report regarding assault.

9:57 p.m. - City code violation in the 100 block of North Ohio Drive. Two juveniles skateboarding in downtown area. Juveniles stated they just moved to town and did not know of city ordinance about skateboarding.

10:05 p.m. - Fireworks complaint at Andalusian and Morgan Unable to locate source of fireworks.

10:44 p.m. - Firearm complaint in the 2700 block of South Preston Road. Heard gunshots in area, unsure of exact location or who could be doing it. Checked roof tops, unable to locate.

11:05 p.m. - Assault in the 400 block of East Maple Street. Victim from earlier incident having chest pains, unknown cause. EMS called and transported victim to Centennial Medical Center.

11:11 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 200 block of Dartmoor Drive. Reporting Person believes someone threw something at back of her house. Unable to locate.

11:11 p.m. - Assist fire department in the 400 block of East Maple Street. Assist fire department with assault victim from earlier call.

July 15

1:24 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances at Founders and Miller. Golf cart found abandoned. Officer located owner and returned cart. No offense.

1:46 a.m. -Disturbance between male and female at Louisiana and Maple. Officer arrested both parties and transported them to Collin County Sheriff's office.

2:25 a.m. – Assist other agency with domestic disturbance in the 9100 block of North Ridge Trail. Located suspect. Assisted EMS with injured person. Assisted deputy with arresting suspect.

5:32 a.m. – Traffic hazard at Elm and Arizona. Tree limb blocking roadway. Moved limb to side of road.

6:57 a.m. – Assist other agency in 1500 block of Riverhill Road. Subject with a gun outside of ex-wife's house. No gun involved. Referred to another agency.

11:08 a.m. - Traffic complaint at Palomino and Winchester. Home Owners' Association is complaining about truck being parked wrong way on street. Officer spoke with owner of truck. He had already moved it before officer got there. Advised him not to park there any more.

11:35 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances in the 200 block of North Texas Drive. Reporting Person states his son won't give his wife her car keys. RP's wife said it was O.K. For her son to take the car. Situation resolved.

7:31 p.m. - Suspicious circumstances near laundry mat. Male observed urinating by laundry mat. Unable to locate after search of area.

7:38 p.m. - Vehicle disturbance at Maple and Illinois. Reporting Person states there are cars from a party driving up and down the road really fast. Blue Honda and a truck are two of the vehicles. Checked area, no vehicle movement.

7:44 p.m. - Backup officer on Heritage. Reporting Person has full custody of son. Son is staying with her husband and was supposed to be returned to her today, but husband will not let her pick him up. Husband has history of violence against wife and son. RP is worried that he will become physically violent with son. RP would like an officer to help her pick up her son. Officer spoke to both parties, situation is handled for now. Children observed playing and no offense is observed.

9:04 p.m. - Animal complaint in the 400 block of South Ohio Drive. Reporting Person states that someone hanged her dog. Dog is deceased. RP has been having problems with some people around. Information report only.

10:56 p.m. - Suspicious vehicle at Dallas Parkway and Farm-to-Market Road 428. Documentation only. Driver got nervous when officer got in behind her and just pulled off road in unknown driveway.

July 16

8:16 a.m. - Trash dumping in the 900 block of West Walnut Street. Trash dumped into dumpster at post office. Located owner of trash bags who will come pick it back up.
