Collin Creek Mall says goodbye to summer with fashion-focused events for tweens and teens Saturday, August 25

It’s the last weekend of August! Summer’s ending. School is starting. Collin Creek Mall invites tweens and teens to SAY GOODBYE TO SUMMER and hello to the fresh new looks for fall.

On Saturday, August 25 from 12 to 8 p.m., a special SAY GOODBYE TO SUMMER event will have the shopping center buzzing with all the newest ideas and trends. To set the stage, Center Court will be the gathering spot, complete with all sorts of teen-approved seating that’s perfect for lounging and talking. Servers will stroll around, offering snacks, courtesy of the Food Court restaurants.

To be certain that the looks are absolutely on trend, Collin Creek Mall has partnered Method Seven Magazine (www.methodsevenmagazine.com <http://www.methodsevenmagazine.com> ). Throughout the afternoon, stylists from the magazine and fashion merchandising students from a nearby college will be available for one-on-one consultations. Guests can get the buzz on what’s new and what’s next and how to make the new looks work with their own personal style. Style workshops will offer tips on how to get the season’s haute-fashion looks for less.

On arrival at SAY GOODBYE TO SUMMER, tweens and teens will be issued a Style Passport, designed to make traveling store to store even more rewarding. The Style Passport will contain a list of select fashion retailers, and when a guest visits one of the retailers, he/she will get the passport stamped. When the guest’s fashion journey is complete, the guest can redeem it for a red-carpet goodie bag packed with all sorts of giveaways, including fashion accessories, products for girls and guys, coupons and more.

Fashion goes tech, too, at the T-Mobile station where company representatives will demonstrate the very latest version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Guests can create their own personal styling board, and everyone who stops to enjoy a one-minute fashion consultation video will be entered to win a Galaxy tablet.
