BARTELSON
Erik W. Bartleson, 49 of Lewisville, Texas, passed away on September 9, 2012.
Erik was born in St. Paul Minnesota to Warner and Mary Lou Bartleson and grew up in Crystal Lake, Illinois.He was an entrepreneur as well as a highly skilled programmer. Erik loved the Colorado mountains with their skiing and snow sports.
Erik had lived in Tonasket, Washington with his parents for various periods of time. Everywhere he went, he became close friends with many groups, co-workers and others.
Erik loved the mountain retreat home of his father and new mom Sara in Oroville, Washington.
He is survived by his father Warner Bartleson (formerly of Grand Coulee and Tonasket, Washington), and step-mom Sara Struble Bartleson (formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana), as well as three sisters: Laurie Barrett and family of Burlington, Wisconsin; Beth Zarian and family of Superior, Colorado; and Amy Balcam and family of Bloomington, Indiana; three step-brothers: Scott Cook and family of Jamestown, Indiana; Nathan Cook and family of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Corey Cook Sr. and family of Indianapolis, Indiana; uncles Rod Bartleson of Cut Bank, Montana and Vance Bartleson of Shoreline, Washington; and great aunt Clarmae Piegat of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He also has 13 nieces and nephews and two grand-nieces as well as many cousins.
Erik was preceded in death by his mother Mary Lou (nee Moe) Bartleson.
