Star Local Media launches reader survey

With a strong desire to better serve our readers and advertisers, we are requesting that you take a few minutes to let us know what you would like to see in your community newspaper. The desired results are much stronger publications -- ones you can be proud of.
We have compiled a short survey to gauge reader response on our printed papers as well as our website. If we are providing too much coverage to one area, or not enough coverage to another, we would like to know that so we are able to put out the best publications possible.
We are also interested in knowing what kind of activities our readers participate in, be it local theater, marching band competitions or adult sports leagues. Knowing this information will help us tailor our newspapers better to our readers' interests.
To encourage reader response, each person filling out the survey will be eligible to win one of eight $50 gas cards. Two cards will be given away weekly, and winners will be notified via email if they have won.
The survey can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/s/starlocalnews and will be active throughout October.
