Celina Resident and Frisco Allstate Agent Recognized for Outstanding Volunteerism
Allstate Foundation Grants $1000 to the Celina Quarterback Club
Celina resident and Frisco Allstate agency owner Jeff Baird received the Allstate Agency Hands in the Community Award for his commitment to helping others and community service. Because of Baird’s outstanding volunteerism, The Allstate Foundation awarded a $1000 grant to the Celina Quarterback Club where Baird volunteers.
The Celina Quarterback Club is a support system for Celina student athletes and coaches. Members host fund raising events throughout the year to help fund Celina ISD athletic facility and equipment needs. In addition, the Quarterback Club provides annual scholarships to both a male and female student athletes, provide a mentoring program for high school student athletes and participate and support various community events throughout the year.
Allstate, its agents, and employees have a proud history of putting their good hands to work in supporting Texas communities, promoting volunteerism and providing financial resources to enable local organizations, like the Celina Quarterback Club, to help others. Now in its 60th year, The Allstate Foundation has given more than $300 million in financial contributions to communities around the country and in 2011, gave $653,000 in Texas.
