Arrest made in Carrollton murder
By Andrew Snyder, asnyder@starlocalnews.com
An arrest has been made in the weekend murder of a Carrollton resident. Nathanael Gehrer, 25, of Wilmer is being charged with murdering a victim believed to be Carrollton resident Dustin Reeb, 22, though the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office has not yet positively identified the body because of aliases he had been using, according to a release from the Carrollton Police Department.
The murder occurred inside the victim's home, which is located in the 2100 block of Placid Drive, on Friday, Nov. 30. Carrollton police believe Gehrer, who is currently being held in the Carrollton Municipal Jail, had been an acquaintance of the victim.
