Lane closures at intersection of Preston-Stonebrook Parkway all this week
Staff reports
One lane of Preston Road will be closed in each direction at the intersection of Preston Road and Stonebrook Parkway/Rolater Road each day this week, Oct. 22-26. The lanes will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. each day. In addition, the location of the left-turn lane in each direction will be temporarily shifted farther from the median during the lane closures. Motorists should expect delays on Preston Road at Stonebrook Parkway/Rolater Road during these times and are urged to use caution in the construction zone.
This is part of Phase 1 of the improvement project on Stonebrook Parkway between Preston Road and the Dallas North Tollway that will widen the road to a six-lane, divided roadway and includes the extension of an underground water line. Phase 1 will add dual left-turn lanes on Rolater Road at Preston Road. The four phases of construction are estimated to continue through December 2014. Information about the project can be found online at FriscoTexas.gov/Stonebrook.
