Hometown product Whole 5 a healthy hit

Published: Wednesday, December 5, 2012 2:48 PM CST
Plano businessman Craig Keeland and his team have developed a good tasting Whole Food Puree product called Whole 5 which retail customers report gives them more energy, fewer aches and pains and a deeper sleep. Whole 5 acts as a natural Anti-Inflammatory because of its blend of

15 Whole Fruits & Vegetables. Whole 5 is a powerful Whole Food Puree that provides consumers with the Anti-Oxidant Equivalent of 5 Servings of Fruits & Vegetables in Every Ounce for only $1 a day.

In early 2011, Liberty Franklin Pharmaceuticals (a Keeland company) launched the Whole 5 puree product in two prominent Texas retailers. Whole 5 quickly became the top-selling product in both retailers in the first month and has continued to be the number one selling product every month since its launch. Today, Whole 5 is carried by over 600 grocery stores in 16 states. The company has commitments in place to expand to more than 3,000 grocery stores by August 2013.

Deanna Naylor, Executive VP of Sales states, “Because the product yields high benefits to consumers, we knew the product would sell itself as customers tried it. In the beginning, we strategically placed Whole 5 in small, boutique retailers so that we could grow the product successfully with our high touch model to ensure our success.”

We contacted managers of several grocery stores that sell Whole 5® to ask them why Whole 5 is selling so well. Retailers told us that their customers are feeling the benefits of consuming Whole 5 in two to three weeks after drinking just 1 ounce of the product daily (the 32 ounce Whole 5 bottle is a one-month supply of health-supporting Anti-Oxidants). Because of the many health benefits that customers experience, they re-buy the product and purchase extra bottles to give away to family and friends. Retailers stated that their customers like “Sharing the Gift of Health” with friends and loved ones.

Whole 5 makes it easy for consumers to get the Anti-Oxidant Equivalent of the recommended

5 Servings of Whole Fruits & Vegetables daily. The product contains no preservatives, no added sugar, no sweeteners, no gluten or yeast. It is safe for everyone including diabetics, pregnant and nursing women and children.

“It is this clear focus on providing whole food nutrition that everyone can enjoy conveniently that is one of the big reasons I love to go to work every day,” says Deanna. “The passion for health behind Craig’s company inspires me daily.”

A new book on Whole 5, “Feeling Younger Longer the Whole Food Way,” was released in 2012. The author is longevity specialist Dr. Richard J. Cutler, an internationally renowned Molecular Gerontologist who spent 18 years as lead investigator at the National Institute on Aging at the National Institutes of Health. The book’s first printing released 20,000 copies in the United States.

Craig Keeland was inspired to develop a product that would allow everyone to enjoy great health for a lifetime. His life’s mission is “Leading Others to Better Health.” All of Craig’s companies are committed to giving back to the community. These companies live the statement “We Are More Than A Company…We Are A Cause.”
