North Mesquite holds off Conrad
North Mesquite cruised for three quarters and then had to hold on for dear life on Monday in a 45-44 victory over Conrad.
The Stallions (7-4) grabbed an early lead and steadily built on it. After leading by four at halftime, North Mesquite used a 13-5 run in the third quarter to take a 33-22 advantage.
Conrad made a furious charge from there, but the comeback attempt fell one point short.
