LCA senior receiver Hunter Wood
The Eagles found themselves in the middle of an offensive shootout during Friday’s TAPPS Division III State Championship game against Shiner St. Paul.
Luckily for Legacy Christian Academy, senior receiver Hunter Wood relished the opportunity. Wood caught eight passes and racked up 199yards and two touchdowns to help the Eagles tally 43 points in the contest.
Although the Eagles dropped a 56-43 contest to St. Paul, Wood helped LCA keep things interesting until the final minutes.
LCA ended its season with an 11-3 mark after entering the postseason as a two seed.
