More than 24 years after a young Hispanic man was found dead outside of Frisco, investigators from the Collin County Sheriff's Office are still trying to make a positive identification.
Other than a physical description, investigators have little to go on, said Lt. John Norton, department spokesman.
"We have been investigating this, but we have been at a standstill for years," Norton said. "For some reason we couldn't identify him before and we are hoping that someone will see his picture and know who he is."
In addition to not having the victim's name, Norton said there are no suspects in the case.
"Until we can identify him, we won't know where he was from, where he worked and who he associated with," Norton said. "Without that information we really don't have a starting point for our investigation."
Anyone with information in this case should call the Sheriff's Office at 972-547-5350.
