Lewisville police investigate shooting at mall (updated)

Lewisville police were at the scene at Vista Ridge Mall for a reported shooting Monday afternoon.
A 25-year-old man shot himself near the downstairs movie theater entrance shortly after 4 p.m. Police said he was having an argument with a female when mall security arrived and began to escort him out. The man pulled a handgun from his clothing and shot himself. He was transported to a local hospital and pronounced dead on arrival. His identity is not being released pending notification of next of kin. The Lewisville Police Department was dispatched to the mall near the time of the incident.
