Allen police looking for man suspected in four burglaries
Staff Reports
Allen police are looking for a suspect in the burglaries of four businesses that took place Thursday night.
The suspect broke into each location by twisting off door locks, which a police alert said could have been done with a pair of vice grip pliers. In two of burglaries, the suspect pried open cash drawers and stole cash. In one of the robberies, he took a wall-mounted TV. In another, he stole the entire cash register.
A description of the suspect pulled from security footage by Allen PD describes him as a slender white male between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9 in height with wire-rim glasses and a thin mustache. The suspect is believed to be between 40 and 50 years old. The suspect has a slight limp and used a cane for walking, favoring his right leg. He also has a very prominent nose, chin and jaw line. He was wearing blue jeans, black shoes, a two-toned stocking cap, a light-colored sweater and a large dark-colored winter coat with a collar and lapels. The suspect was driving a 1998 to 2003 Lexus RX300 SUV, black in color with grey under trim.
Terrell's Cleaners is in a shopping center at 206 N. Greenville Ave.
