Frisco and McKinney police arrest bank robbery suspect

Frisco police have arrested 33 year-old Dustin Ball in connection with a bank robbery that occurred 4:25 p.m. Tuesday at BB&T Bank, 6021 Preston Road.

Police responded to the location when bank employees called to report the robbery. Witnesses stated a white male demanded money from the teller. The robber then fled the bank through the front door. No weapon was seen during the robbery.

Frisco detectives and crime scene technicians responded to the scene to interview witnesses and collect evidence.

A description of Ball's vehicle and license plate number provided police with potential leads that ultimately led to Ball's arrest, which was made in McKinney with the assistance of the McKinney Police Department.

The Frisco Police Department is not releasing a photo of Ball because the investigation is ongoing. Police request that anyone with information pertaining to this case contact the department's non-emergency number at 972-292-6010.
