Plano resident selected as Big East Male Scholar Athlete of the Year

Grant Van De Casteele of Plano, Texas, a senior at Notre Dame, has been selected as the BIg East Male Scholar Athlete of the Year.

He is the first mens Irish soccer player to receive this award and only the second male athlete from Notre Dame since the award's inception in 1985.
