Barbara Ann Allgood, 81, the wife of Rev. Leonard Allgood, former pastor of First Assembly of God Plano, Texas, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday evening, February 27, 2013, at The Medical Center of Plano.
At the time of Barbara's death, she was surrounded by her family singing her favorite hymns as she entered into the presence of the Lord.

In 1957, the Allgood family moved to Plano. They were elected as senior pastors at the First Assembly Of God Church. There they served faithfully for 51 years until their retirement in 2009.

Over her more than 56 years of ministry, Barbara Allgood touched the lives of a great number of people as demonstrated by the many messages from those who attended the church and were influenced by her Christian testimony and devoted walk with the Lord. Sis Allgood inspired them to press on in the faith.
