Night paving scheduled on FM 407

One section of paving on FM 407 is required to be performed at night to meet TxDOT specifications and for coordination purposes. The concrete batch plant located on Village Parkway in Highland Village just south and east of the KCS railroad will be required to operate temporarily during this very important phase.
The contractor will operate the batch plant starting Monday beginning at 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Friday morning. The batch plant will operate during the daytime through Friday to prepare concrete for the sections left out for driveways and intersections.
The concrete batch plant will begin producing material at approximately 8 p.m. There will be 16 concrete trucks hauling from the site. All trucks and heavy equipment will turn off their back-up alarms while in the batch plant yard. Dust control measures will continue to operate while the batch plant is in operation. All lights will face the railroad in an attempt to avoid light pollution.
