The Lewisville Public Library invites you to join us for the kick-off event and official opening of the national touring exhibit, "Lincoln: the Constitution & the Civil War," on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 2:00pm. The kick-off will feature a presentation by Dr. Kenneth Stevens, TCU Professor of History, titled "Lincoln & the Expansion of Presidential Power During the Civil War," followed by "Songs the Soldiers Sang," a Civil War music presentation by historian Mr. Joe Walker.
