An Evening of Hope is the annual fundraising gala benefiting Hope's Door, the only domestic violence shelter in Collin County. This year marks the culmination of Hope's Door silver anniversary of service to victims of family violence. Hope's Door offers safety and shelter, counseling, transitional housing and legal advocacy to victims of domestic violence, and education to abusers to break the cycle of family violence.
Last year's event raised record amounts for the charity, and partygoers will find many of 2011's most popular attractions have returned. Attendees will enjoy dinner from a diverse chef's station featuring some of the area's hottest restaurants such as Sambuca and Howard Wangs. Silent and live auctions featuring many one-of-a-kind items also will be on display. Local favorite Plush will return with live music to entice revelers onto the dance floor.
Dr. Betty Bell Muns, a well-known Dallas area philanthropist, is serving as this year's Honorary Chair. Dr. Muns is a founder of Star Children's Charities, as well as a founding member of Hope's Door. Other special guests include emcees Steve Stoler and Teresa Woodard from WFAA.
Tickets are $150 each or tables of 10 for $1500.
Come celebrate an Evening of Hope!
